Bolton is now going to be a No Excuses School and every programme at school is going to revolve around the theme.

Text book reading is essential and important in all subjects. The school believes in dealing with every lesson in every subject, differently on the concept to be taught. Projects , activities, discussions, labs and smart class modules are a few methods which support classroom teaching.

Academics

The lessons are planned systematically to give the students different dimensions on any given topic. The thematic teaching approach also has project based evaluation that would boost the confidence levels of the students in each lesson. Tests related to the themes are given regularly

Note: The school believes in training the students to express the concepts they have learnt, in their own words with the help of facilitators.

Music is the universal language of mankind’’ - H.W. Longfellow

Music

Music education greatly enhances students' understanding and achievement in non-musical subjects. At Bolton School , we understand that the earlier a child ... comes to grip with music, the more the brain growth will be influenced. It sets them up for life. Exposing young children to a variety of instruments, choral arrangements, and styles of music  enhances their educational experience and fosters their academic, social, and emotional growth.

Outdoor Games

Champions do not become champions when they win the event but, in the hours, weeks, months and years they spend preparing for it. We at Bolton are decisive in providing an effective platform for our future champions because the victorious performances in the future will merely be the demonstration of their championship character. Children who play are happier and perform better in class. Regular physical activities help the children to develop their motor skills, confidence, cognitive skills, communication, aesthetic sense, leadership qualities, spirit of competition and teamwork.

“Never give up, never give in, and when the upper hand is ours, may we have the ability to handle the win with the dignity that we absorbed the loss.” – Doug Williams

Indoor Games

Playing sports is a great way to exercise and keep the body fit and healthy. But oftentimes regular outdoor sports are interrupted by weather conditions.

The benefits of children playing indoors are plenty. Playing indoor games teaches kids to bond with peers. Children also learn to learn to share and play fair. Giving kids an opportunity to play indoors helps children not get cranky if the weather is bad.

At Bolton School , children are exposed to a plethora of activities that not only help in their physical growth but also sharpen their mental abilities. The indoor activities range from Badminton, Table tennis, Chess, Scrabble, puzzles to other interesting board games.
